We had a great turnout for the ski trip. We all arrived at the church early on Saturday morning 2/14/09 to load up and head for West Virginia. We finally made our destination at around 4:30, checked into our rooms, changed our clothes, and headed to Winterplace! Saturday night was spent snowtubing and playing cards and spoons with Mr. Wahl. The tubing lanes were extra slick and icy and all of us got going really easy! The next morning we ate breakfast and headed back for a day of skiing and boarding. It was a wonderful day and we had a clear sky with beautiful weather. That evening we all took a break and loaded up to go eat at Ryan's. The boys all chowed down after a day full of skiing. Some of the boys decided to load back up and have another round of skiing and boarding after dinner. The night skiing is the best! It started to snow on our way back to the mountain and it just snowed harder as time moved on. This was my first trip skiing and I absolutely loved it and can't wait for next year!
